Graeme Murty

Graeme Murty ( born November 13, 1974 in Middlesbrough) is a Scottish football player.

His position is right defender and at the moment he plays for Reading FC, where he is also team captain. In the past he played for York City.

Murty was born in England, but he is allowed to play due to his family for the Scottish national football team. Three times he has been selected for the Scottish football team, first against Wales in 2004. He was a member of the Scottish team for the Kirin Cup in May 2006 and played in the victory over Bulgaria on May 11, 2006. He has also in the game against Japan participated, as Scotland has won the Kirin Cup.
