Graeme Walton

Graeme Walton ( born June 17, 1981 in Belfast, Northern Ireland) is a British- Irish ice hockey player who has stood at the 2003 Belfast Giants in the Elite Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Graeme Walton began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Belfast Giants for their first team, he made his debut in the Elite Ice Hockey League in the season 2003/ 04. In his rookie year, the defenders were in a total of 47 games four assists and received 28 penalty minutes. In the following years the right shooter was a fixture in his team and reached Belfast so far in the playoffs each season. He also won with the Giants in the season 2005/ 06 the main round, and in 2009 the EIHL Challenge Cup. In 2010 he won the EIHL playoffs with Belfast.

Internationally

For the British national ice hockey team Walton took part in the B World Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009. In addition, he was in the squad of Great Britain in the qualifying tournament for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
