Graham Bonney (actually Graham Brady, born June 2, 1943 in London ) is a British pop singer and entertainer who was especially successful in Germany.

Life

In 1959, he founded his first school band in England, which was followed by other groups with which he performed on the Hamburg Star Club.

In 1966 he was represented by his song Supergirl in many European charts. In the UK, the title only reached 19th place in Germany, he has been particularly successful here the title reached number 8 and was quoted 21 weeks in the charts. As he had in his home with the following in english sung songs no more success, while his German recordings still were well received in Germany, he focused his activities on the German market. It celebrates chart success with songs such as The Girl with the LA -LA- LA, seven-league boots, Pick 333, Hey little lady, 99.9 percent, you're much too beautiful, Brandy, Papa Joe, I've got the whole night only thought of you, the man who speaks the news on TV, no kisses and no tomatoes, I'll do an interview with your heart, Rosemary and Company and Anneliese. Later, the success was for something, but he was still often in television shows and at other events as a guest.

When he worked in the early 70s in a studio in Cologne with a young unsuccessful band, he gave the decisive impulse that they should not sing exclusively in the then popular by many German newcomers English, but also by Cologne dialect ( " Kölsch " ) in order to succeed. This would also arrive at the local carnival and just well. The young band was then widely known under the ( new ) name " Black Fööss ".

In 2009 he released his most recent album, "We are far too old ." He is married to his second wife since 1984 and lives in Kerpen.
