Graham Dorrans (2009)

Graham Dorrans ( born May 5, 1987 in Glasgow ) is a Scottish football player. Since the summer of 2008 is the striker for English first division side West Bromwich Albion under contract.

Career

Association

At the age of 16 years Dorrans moved into the first team of FC Livingston. There he developed in the next five years to a talented attacker. At the beginning of the 2005 /06 Dorrans was awarded to Partick Thistle. In the Scottish capital club he played from September to December in 2005 and scored five goals in 15 games. The breakthrough in Livingston he made then to the 2007/08 season, when he became a regular player. At the end of the season he was voted the best player in Scotland the Scottish Football League First Division.

During the winter break of 2007/ 08 was committed by Dorrans West Bromwich Albion for the next season. In Bromwich Dorrans had to wait long for the first use in the Premier League. On 21 December 2008, he came to his first: In the match against Manchester City manager Tony Mowbray joined him in the 64th minute for Kim Do - heon.

National

Dorrans was U-20 national team of Scotland. With he took part in the U20 World Cup in Canada. After three defeats in the preliminary round, the tournament was disappointing. Dorrans came in all three games available for use, but could not score a goal.

He is currently the Under-21 national team of his native country.
