Graham Kirkham, Baron Kirkham of Old Cantley ( * December 14, 1944 in Doncaster) in the County of South Yorkshire Kt CVO is a British entrepreneur and politician of the Conservative Party, which is a life peer member of the House of Lords since 1999.

Life

Kirkham founded in 1969, the company DFS Furniture Co Ltd and is its owner and managing director. He was beaten for his contributions to the Knight Bachelor in 1996 and led henceforth the additional name "Sir". He was also between 1997 and 1998 Chairman of the Treasurer of the Conservative Party.

By Letters Patent of 23 July 1999 King was raised as a life peer with the title Baron Kirkham of Old Cantley in the County of South Yorkshire to the peerage.
