For Grammy Award for Best Pop Solo Performance conferred until 2011 Grammys for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, Best Country Collaboration with Vocals and Best Country Instrumental Performance have been (if it is a performance by a duo or group ) merged, as the NARAS wanted to reduce the number of categories clearly and partially abolish the separation of vocal and instrumental performances in the categories.
