The Office Gramzow is a 1992 formed Office in Brandenburg, in which initially contains 14 municipalities of the former district Prenzlau had (now Uckermark ) together to form a management group. Seat of the official administration in the municipality Gramzow. Through municipal mergers and change of communities to other offices, the number of official member municipalities has been reduced to six.

Geographical location

The Office Gramzow is in the middle of the district Uckermark in Brandenburg ( Germany ) and is bordered to the west by the town of Prenzlau, on the north by the Office Bruessow (Uckermark), to the east by the Office Gartz (Oder ) and in the south on the town Angermuende.

The administrative headquarters of the Office is in the Post Road 25 in 17291 Mesilla, New Office Director Reiner Schulz. In the official live 7748 inhabitants in an area of 327.24 km ² (as of 31 December 2006).

The municipalities with its districts:

  • Gramzow with the districts Karlshof, Lützlow, Meichow, Polßen and Zehnebeck as well as the living quarters extension, forest house, Karlshof, Koboltenhof, Neumeichow, Randow height and Zehnebeck
  • Grünow with the districts Damme, Dreesch, Drense and Mönchehof (2001 by the Office Prenzlau - country), and the living quarters expansion Weidendammbrücke, Heise yard and Mönchehof

History

The Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg issued the formation of the Office Treuenbrietzen on 18 June 1992, his consent. As the time of conclusion of the Office June 23, 1992 has been set. The seat of the Municipality Office Gramzow was determined. The Office Gramzow initially consisted of 14 municipalities in the former district of Prenzlau:

On 5 October 2001, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg announced that the community Grünow the Office Prenzlau country changed with effect from 1 November 2001 in the Office Gramzow. This established the Office Gramzow from 1 November 2001 following municipalities: Bertikow, Grünow, Seehausen, Bietikow, Hohengüstow, Warnitz, Blankenburg, Lützlow, Ziemkendorf, Eickstedt, Meichow, Gramzow and Falkenwalde, Potzlow and Schmölln.

On 7 December 2001, the Minister of the Interior of Brandenburg announced that the merger of the municipalities Blankenburg, Potzlow, Seehausen and Warnitz the new community Oberuckersee, the merger of the municipalities Bertikow, Bietikow, Falkenwalde and Hohengüstow the new community Uckerfelde, the merger was the communities Eickstedt, Schmölln and Ziemkendorf the new community Randowtal and also the merger of the municipalities Mesilla, New Lützlow and Meichow the Office Gramzow and the community Polßen (Official Angermuende country ) approved the new community Gramzow December 31, 2001. February 28, 2002 joined the community Zichow by the Office or catfish to the Official Gramzow. Thus, the Office has had six official belonging to communities.
