Grand Bassa County is an administrative region ( County) in Liberia, it has a size of 7936 km ², and had at the last census (2008) 221 693 inhabitants.

The administrative region is divided into eight districts. The capital city is Buchanan in the District Neekreen.

Grand Bassa is located on the Atlantic coast. The name was derived from the Grand Bassa ethnic group living here Bassa. Cape Brazier is located on the coast.
