Grand Falls-Windsor

Grand Falls -Windsor is a Canadian town on the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. The city, by merging the two communities of Windsor (north of the TransCanada Highway ) ( south of the TransCanada Highway ) was created and Grand Falls in 1991, is located on the Exploits River. Most important economic activities are forestry and paper industry. The city is surrounded by a wilderness with moose, caribou, black bears and foxes. The museum Mary March Provincial Museum Grand Falls, 24 Catherine St., discusses among with the geology, history and industrialization of the region.
