Grand Terrace is a city in the U.S. state of California. It is located in the southwest of the San Bernardino County and has about 12,000 inhabitants ( 2010). The city covers an area of nine square kilometers. Places in the vicinity are in a northerly direction Colton, Rialto west and south of Riverside ( to Riverside County located ).

Demography

The census of 2010 showed a population of 12,040, a slight increase of about 400 people, compared to 2000. The number of households in Grand Terrace amounted to about 4,400. The majority of the population consisted - namely two-thirds - from whites, while people with Latino of any race, so-called Latinos represent almost the rest of the population. The number of African Americans to the urban population amounted to just over five percent, while other ethnic groups were represented in smaller numbers.
