Grande Autane

The Grande Autane is a 2782 m high mountain in the Dauphiné Alps in France. It is located near Gap in the Hautes -Alpes.
Routes to the summit
Ancelle Valley location is northeast of Gap. From Ancelle leads a dirt road in an easterly direction to Parking Rouanne Haute (1640 m), where the mountain trail begins. This leads in a northerly direction in a serpentine over the Croix de Lombard ( 1850 m ) and La Serre du Milieu (2020 m) and a waypoint Pra Mau ( 2160 m), first to the Col de Combeau ( 2,303 m ). A marked with cairns path goes from there east to the Grande Autane. The path runs along the ridge up to the final climb, which leads to the summit over rocks.
