Grane (river)

The Grane is a right tributary of the innermost west and northwest of Goslar.

It rises near Clausthal in the Upper Harz and opens into the innermost 12 km later at Langelsheim. In Herzog- Julius- hut community Astfeld near Goslar it is dammed to Granetalsperre.

Its catchment area is around 45 km ², 22 to the dam.
