Granite Falls is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) in the southwest of the U.S. state of Minnesota. The city is the administrative center of the Yellow Medicine County, but is half in Chippewa County. In 2010, Granite Falls had 2897 inhabitants.

The Andrew John Volstead House, the residence of the politician Andrew Volstead, who was instrumental in the passing of Prohibition, located in Granite Falls. The building has been recorded both in the Register of Historic Landmarks and the Historic Places.
