Granophyre

Granophyr is a fine-grained or coarse-grained crystalline plutonic rock with a high silica content, a plutonite. This plutonic rock is one of the igneous rocks. It corresponds to the chemical composition of the rhyolite as surface rock.

Color

From the color -wise he is mostly bright or grayish.

Composition

It is composed mainly of feldspar and quartz. Minor amounts of minerals such as pyroxene and have darker olivine. But you make the most of not more than 5 % of the total mass.
