Grant County (Washington)

Grant County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington, United States. It has 74 698 inhabitants. The the county seat ( county seat ) is located in Ephrata.

Geography

History

The Grant County was formed on February 24, 1909 from parts of Douglas County. It was named after Ulysses S. Grant, the commander of the Union armies in the American Civil War and 18th President of the United States.
