Grant Geissman

Grant Geissman ( born April 13, 1953 in Berkeley ) is an American jazz and fusion musician ( guitar, composition ).

Geissman was taught during the high school years by Jerry Hahn, and then studied at California State University, Fullerton and California State University, Northridge. During this time he played with Gerald Wilson and Louie Bellson, with whom he recorded also. He worked in his career, among other things, with Van Dyke Parks, Brian Wilson ( Orange Crate Art, 1995), Robbie Williams ( Escapology, 2003), Quincy Jones ( Q's Jook Joint, 1995), Paula Abdul, Ringo Starr ( Ringo Rama ), David Benoit, Chuck Mangione ( in whose band he played until 1981), Plácido Domingo, Luis Miguel, Burt Bacharach, Julio Iglesias and Elvis Costello together.

He has published a total of 14 solo albums until 2009, was also involved in music that ran for example, to the movies / series Dawson 's Creek, Two and a Half Men, Tomb Raider II, and Anaconda. This earned him a well Emmy nominations.
