Grass shears

A turf grass shears or scissors is a garden tool for cutting grass. Lawn shears are also available as electric scissors with mains or battery operation.

Lawn shears are suitable only for very small lawns and edges of surfaces. Often they are used when a lawn mower or edger lack of space can not be used or whose acquisition does not pay for cost reasons. For taller grass and a sickle can be used to hire a lawn trimmer. Recommended the subsequent removal of the cut grass is to avoid rotting of the fine soil grasses.
