Grave candle

A grave light a candle or similar lamp that is made for ritual purposes on a grave.

For the preparation as used in a candle wax which is liquid filled into the appropriate shape and provided with a wick. This form is mostly a up to 20 cm high red or white plastic cup. Such a grave light burning under favorable conditions for several days. Modern grave lights are also available with batteries or solar cells.

When decorating and as a protection against wind and rain grave lights are often placed in special lanterns with glass on all four sides.
