Gravedona

Gravedona is an Italian town in the Province of Como in the Lombardy region with a population of 2779 (as of 31 December 2010) Since February 2011 Gravedona, together with the former municipalities of Consiglio di Rumo and Germasino the new community Gravedona ed Uniti.

Geography

Gravedona is at the upper part of Lake Como on the Strada Statale 340 ( State Street ) and the Strada Provinciale 4 ( provincial road ). Neighboring towns and municipalities are Colico ( LC), Consiglio di Rumo, Domaso, Dosso del Liro and Peglio.
