Graveyard (band)

Graveyard is a Swedish Hard-/Psychedelic-Rock-Band, which was founded in 2006 in Gothenburg.

Band History

Joakim Nilsson and Rikard Edlund previously played together in the dissolved in 2000 Stoner-/Doom-Metal-Band Norrsken; in 2006, she also founded the band Graveyard. It consists of Joakim Nilsson (guitar & vocals), Rikard Edlund (bass ), Axel Sjöberg (Drums ) and Jonathan Ramm ( Guitar & vocals).

2007, recorded the first album Graveyard directed by producer Don Ahlsterberg who has also worked with The Soundtrack of Our Lives and The International Noise Conspiracy and published in Transubstans Records on September 10th of the year. The album has achieved consistently good reviews.

After an extended tour of Europe (including with Witchcraft ) and the USA ( with CKY) returned the four Swedes back into the studio where they recorded their second album Hisingen Blues, which was finally released in March 2011 on the label Nuclear Blast.

On October 24, 2012 came the new album Lights Out in the trade.
