Great Barford

Great Barford is a small village and civil parish in Bedfordshire, England, a few miles northeast of Bedford. It lies on the River Great Ouse. Great Barford is twinned with Wöllstein in Rhineland- Palatinate.

At the community Great Barford, the A goes past 421, which connects Bedford and St Neots in Cambridgeshire. The A 421 was put into service on 24 August 2006.

The community is known for her All Saints Church with its tower dating from the 15th century and the bridge of the same architectural style of the same century. The surroundings and historic buildings make the town a favorite destination for canoeing, fishing and picnics. Nearby towns are Renhold and Blunham.
