Great Birmingham Run
The Great Birmingham Run is a half marathon, which takes place in Birmingham since 2008. 2001, previously known as the Birmingham Half Marathon event was incorporated into the Great Run series.
The World Half Marathon Championships 2009 found directly before the event held on the same course. The winners of the Eritreans Zersenay Tadese in 59:35 minutes and Kenyan Mary Keitany Jepkosgei in 1:06:36 h. Using the fastest times ever run on English soil
