Great Cumbrae ( schott Gael. Cumaradh Mòr ) or Isle of Cumbrae ( there is a small sister island called Little Cumbrae Iceland ) is a small island in the Firth of Clyde on Scotland 's west coast, 20 -minute ferry ride from Largs away.

Capital of the island is Millport, where about 1,600 of the 2,000 inhabitants of the island live. There is also the main attraction of the island - the Cathedral of the Isles, Europe's smallest cathedral. Other attractions include a painted rock called Crocodile Rock on the north coast and the Marine Life museum in the Southeast. The highest elevation is the Glaid Stone in the center of the island with an altitude of 127 m. From there, you have good weather outlook for the mainland, the islands of Bute and Arran and the Kintyre peninsula.
