Great Falls Americans
The Great Falls Americans were a hockey team from Great Falls in the state of Montana. The team played in the 1979/80 season in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Western Hockey League ( WHL).
History
The Edmonton Oil Kings of the Western Hockey League in 1978 to Great Falls, Montana, relocated and renamed in Great Falls Americans. The franchise won only two of his 28 games in which it reached three points. Subsequently, it was still withdrawn during the course of the season from the current operation and was henceforth inactive. Following the 1979/80 season the inactive franchise was reactivated and to Spokane, Washington, relocated, where it then Flyers took part under the name of the game Spokane operation of the WHL.
