Great Sitkin Island

Great Sitkin Iceland is a small island in the north of Andreanof Islands, an island group in the south west of the Aleutian Islands.

The U.S. state of Alaska to the scoring, uninhabited island has a land area of 245 km ², is 19 km long and almost 13 km wide. The northern part of Great Sitkin Iceland is the 1740 m high active stratovolcano Great Sitkin dominated the last erupted in 1987.
