Greatest Hits (Cat-Stevens-Album)

Greatest Hits is the first compilation album of the singer -songwriter Cat Stevens.

History

The tenth album by Cat Stevens was released in June 1975, was his first compilation album. The title of Greatest Hits is not correct insofar as the single hits that were released on the label Deram Records and Lady D' Arbanville, are not included. Furthermore, Hard Headed Woman was not a single and Father & Son, only the B-side of Moonshadow.

As an incentive to buy, there are two tracks on the album that have been otherwise published as singles ( Two Fine People and Another Saturday Night ). The album was commercially successful (USA: 6th place; UK Place 2; Germany: 6th place ).

The album was re-released in 2000 in a remastered by Ted Jensen Version.

Title list

All titles except Morning Has Broken and Another Saturday Night were written by Cat Stevens.
