Grebbin is a municipality in the district of Upper Warnow Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg -Vorpommern ( Germany ). Until the end of 2011 Grebbin was an independent municipality with the districts Grebbin, Kossebade and Wozinkel.

Geography

Grebbin located about nine kilometers north of Parchim in a hilly landscape with some smaller surveys, the highest just under 85.5 m above sea level. NHN achieved. History

The name Grebbin comes from the Slavic word " Grabu ", which translates as " Hainbuchenort " means. Several large stone and burial mounds testify to the early settlement of the area. 1951 Kossebade was incorporated. Effective 1 January 2012 Grebbin formed together with Herzberg the new municipality of Upper Warnow.
