Green Lane Masjid
The Green Lane Mosque ( Green Lane Masjid ) was established in the 1970s as a mosque and is one of Birmingham's largest mosques and the national headquarters of the Markazi Jamiat Ahl -i Hadith in the UK.
The mosque is located on a prominent corner plot in the Green Lane in Small Heath district, in a building that was originally built as a public library and baths by the architects Martin & Chamberlain from red brick and terracotta Gothic- Jacobin style 1893-1902. From the monument classified as " Buildings of particular architectural or historic interest " (Grade II). The building complex includes prayer rooms for men and women, a community hall, a madrasa, a library, a shop and offers funeral services for the local community to.
