Greg Classen

Greg Classen ( born August 24, 1977 in Aylsham, Saskatchewan ) is a German - Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for ERC Ingolstadt in the DEL since August 2013.

Career

After classes, first played in his homeland for the Nipawin Hawks in the unterklassigen Canadian Junior Football League Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, he moved in 1998 to the Merrimack College and played there for the Merrimack College Warriors at the Hockey East, a league in the play mode of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. In his first season at the College of the Center was elected to the All- Rookie team and initially remained another year.

At the end of the 1999/00 season he signed as a free agent with the Nashville Predators his first professional contract and arrived at their farm team, the Milwaukee Admirals in the International Hockey League for his pro debut.
