Greg Germann

Greg Germann ( born February 26, 1958 in Houston ) is an American actor and director.

Life and achievements

Germann's father was a professor of Theatre Studies and author of plays for children. Germann grew up in Golden in the U.S. state of Colorado. He studied theater at the University of Northern Colorado. His professional career began in plays on Broadway; in the play The Person I Once Was he starred with Holly Hunter.

Greg Germann became famous by the television series Ally McBeal, in which he played the partner of the law firm, Richard Fish. He also has directed some episodes. The Screen Actors Guild Award he won together with the ensemble in 1998, 2000 and 2001. He also starred in the sitcom Ned and Stacey. Germann directed the short film Pete 's Garden, which was awarded in 1998 at the Sundance Film Festival.

Germann is married to actress Christine Mourad and has a son who was born in 1997.
