Greg Howe

Gregory " Greg" Howe ( born December 8, 1963 in New York City ) is an American guitarist. He has worked as a studio guitarist for various artists and is active as a composer.

Life and work

Howe was discovered by Mike Varney of Shrapnel Records. 1988 Howe published his first album for Varney's label. The album was honored by the magazine Guitar World in 2009 as the ten best of all ever published shred guitar albums.

Howe has worked with a wide variety of musicians. He has worked as a stage guitarist for Michael Jackson on the HIStory tour. For Enrique Iglesias, he has worked as a guitarist on the stage toured Europe. Howe also worked as a guitarist for NSYNC. For several years he worked as a stage guitarist for Justin Timberlake and as a studio musician for Laura Pausini.

Since 2008 he has played in Eddie Jobsons music group UKZ with.

Greg Howe lives in Long Beach ( California).

Collaboration with Laguna Guitars

Howe has designed together with the U.S. instrument manufacturers Laguna Guitars own guitar model. The guitar is made of swamp ash and has an orange lacquered top flamed maple. The neck is made of maple. The pickups are made by DiMarzio. The guitars are equipped with tremolo systems by Floyd Rose.
