Greg Marcks

Greg Marcks ( born August 12, 1976 in Concord, Massachusetts ) is an American filmmaker. With the thriller 11:14, he made his feature film debut. The film was at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere in 2003 and arrived in Germany on 1 September 2005 nationwide in theaters.

Marcks studied creative writing at Carnegie Mellon University and director at the Florida State University Film School. He lives and works in Los Angeles.

His short films have been shown internationally in more than 50 festivals and received several awards. Of these, the Student Oscar in 2001 ( for his short film Lector ) is certainly the most remarkable.

In 2009 he filmed the movie Echelon Conspiracy.
