Gregg Hale (producer)

Gregg Hale ( b. 1966 as Greggory R. Hale in Selma, Alabama) is an American film producer, known for his work in the film The Blair Witch Project (1999). He is on a smaller scale also screenwriter, film director and editor.

Life and career

Gregg Hale was born in Selma, Alabama, but he considers Henderson ( Kentucky) as his home. He attended for one year the Western Kentucky University before he left school and entered for four years in the U.S. Army. After leaving the Army, he moved to Orlando, where he studied at Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. He then worked for ten years in Orlando and Los Angeles as an assistant in the areas of set design and props for feature films and television programs. In 1999 he produced the horror film The Blair Witch Project. In 2004, he staged with Say Yes Quickly his first and only feature film.
