Gregg Landaker

Gregg Landaker is an American sound engineer, the British Academy Film Awards ( BAFTA ) won three Academy Award for Best Sound as well as two more times for the best sound.

Life

Landaker began his career as a sound engineer in the film industry in Hollywood in 1979 with the film Nutcracker Fantasy and worked until today in the creation of over 190 films.

His first Oscar for best sound he won at the Academy Awards in 1981 along with Bill Varney, Steve Maslow and Peter Sutton for the film The Empire Strikes Back (1980 ), the fifth part of Star Wars. In 1982 he also won with Varney and Maslow and Roy Charman his second Oscar in this category for Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981 ).
