Gregor Hauffe

Gregor Hauffe ( born May 20, 1982 in Magdeburg ) is a German sweep rowers. With the aft Germany he was from 2009 to 2011 for three consecutive times world champion.

Gregor Hauffe launched at the beginning of his career for the RV Emscher pan - Eickelmann Herten eV and won in 1996 in one of the Federal decision of the children rowers. Later he joined the RTHC Bayer Leverkusen. After successes in the age group of under -23 -year-old he joined in 2005 for the first time at a World Cup in the adult class and was twelfth in the coxless four. The following year at the World Championships in Milan Hauffe occurred in coxless four at, along with Toni Seifert, Urs buyers and Filip Adamski, he won the silver medal. This boat finished at the World Rowing Championships 2007 in Munich ninth place and also qualified for the Olympic Games in 2008, where it finished sixth.

In the post-Olympic season 2009 Gregor Hauffe went to Germany with the eight and won at the World Championships the title. In 2010 Hauffe was European and World Champion in eighth. His third World Series title with the flagship of the German Rowing Federation is a native of Magdeburg secured at the World Rowing Championships 2011 in Slovenia.

In addition to his sports career, graduated Gregor Hauffe successfully trained as law enforcement officials at the federal police sports school Kienbaum. Concurrent with the completion of vocational training in February 2014 he ended his athletic career, providing henceforth his service as police law enforcement officer to use a service of the Federal Police.
