Gregory Hoblit

Gregory King Hoblit ( born November 27, 1944 in Abilene, Texas, USA) is an American film producer and film director.

Biography

Although born in Texas, Hoblit grew up in Northern California, where his father worked as an usher. Influenced by the father's occupation, Hoblit chose was increasingly court subjects for his films from.

After graduating from UCLA Hoblit began in the late 1970s as a producer in television. Among other things, he was responsible for the production of the television series Hill Street Blues and LA Law. He also has directed numerous episodes.

1996 debuted Hoblit with Twilight as a feature film director, he was since then in some known thrillers behind the camera.

He is married to actress Debrah Farentino since 10 September 1994, the two have a daughter.
