Greifswald International Students' Festival

The Greifswald International Students Festival ( abbreviated GrIStuF ) will be held in Greifswald since 2002. It forms a colorful frame to dialog and understanding between people of different nations, cultures and religions. Here, the participants set apart among others in workshops, lectures and discussions with the respective motto of the festival. In addition, the festival time is rounded off by various cultural evening events.

The festival is conducted by the Association founded to GrIStuF and made possible through volunteer work by students at the Ernst- Moritz- Arndt- University and other volunteers.

It is one of two festivals of its kind in Germany and is an annual event alternating with the International Student Week in Ilmenau. In 2012 eV GrIStuF received the Culture Prize of the State of Mecklenburg- Vorpommern.
