Grendel (Band)

Grendel is a Dutch Aggrotech band, which was initially founded under a different name. The name derives from the Anglo-Saxon legendary figure Grendel.

History

In early 2000 published Grendel the first promotional CD, which also included the Dutch dance floor hit Strangers. Within a short time this hit was played on many dance floors in the Netherlands and internationally (especially Germany, Belgium and Spain).

Shortly after Grendel received requests for live performances, as well FLRS joined ( Live Synthesizing and engineering ) of the band.

Half a year later the first demo CD was released entitled Inhumane Amusement. This demo caught the attention of the German label NoiTekk (a subsidiary of Black Rain Records), the Grendel immediately took under contract. The demo was re-mastered and re-designed, then it was issued in combination with new songs in 2001 as the debut album.
