Greta Scacchi
Greta Scacchi [ gre ː ta ː skak i] ( born February 18, 1960 in Milan, Italy) is an Italian- Australian actress.
Life
Scacchi grew up as the daughter of an English dancer and an Italian painter bilingually. When she was four years old, her parents, after which she moved with her mother and her brothers to England, where they lived first in London and from 1966 in Haywards Heath ( West Sussex ) parted. When her mother remarried in 1975, the family moved with Scacchis stepfather to Australia; there she worked as a cowgirl and translator for Italian.
After she had taken as a child ballet and acting lessons, she returned with eighteen years to London, where she began training at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic in 1978. Then she played minor roles in various theaters and worked as a model for advertising.
Your screen debut in 1982, she had the second face, directed by Dominik Graf. In the same year following her first major role opposite Julie Christie in the heat and dust. In 1985 she finally made a breakthrough with her role in Coca Cola Kid.
