Gretchen Franklin
Gretchen Franklin ( * July 7, 1911 in London, † 11 July 2005) was a British actress.
Life
She was a cousin of the actor Clive Dunn. Her most famous role was Franklin from 1985 to 1997 as Ethel Skinner in the BBC television series EastEnders. In the role, she had a dog, who answered to the name Willy. One of her standard phrases in the series was also the question: " Where's my Willy "
Before the EastEnders Franklin has played several major roles in various television series including Crossroads and the sitcom George and Mildred.
