Griff Rhys Jones
Griffith "Griff " Rhys Jones ( born November 16, 1953 in Cardiff ) is a British author, comedian, actor, producer and director.
Life
In the satirical TV show Not the Nine O'Clock News BBC he played alongside Rowan Atkinson, Pamela Stephenson and Mel Smith. The series ran from 1979 to 1982 on BBC2.
( From 1989 only Smith and Jones ) From 1982 to 1998 played Griff Rhys Jones with Mel Smith in a total of 27 episodes of the comedy series Alas Smith and Jones. The title was an allusion to the Alias Smith and Jones U.S. series. In Germany welcomed the 15 radiated in some 3 TV programs Follow Auweia! Smith and Jones. An episode was 25 minutes long. The DVD box was indeed announced by the BBC in 2005, but was not published until today.
In the film adaptation of the novel Puppenmord (Author: Tom Sharpe ) Mel Smith and Griff Rhys Jones played the lead roles.
