Griffith Iceland is an uninhabited island in the territory of Nunavut, Canada, and is one of the Queen Elizabeth Islands in the Arctic Ocean. It is located in the Barrow Strait south of Cornwallis Island Iceland, from which it is separated by the Resolute Passage eleven kilometers wide. Griffith Iceland is 20 km long, 12 km wide and has an area of 189 km ². At its southeast cape Cheyne Point, the island reaches a height of 201 meters.

In search of the lost Franklin expedition wintered Horatio Thomas Austin, the captain of the Resolute, 1851 on the island. During this time he made many studies and explored together with his co- captain George F. McDougall (1825-1871), the strait between Bathurst and Cornwallis Iceland Iceland, the McDougall Sound.
