Grigoriopol (Russian Григориополь ) is a city in Transnistria and Moldova on the eastern bank of the Dniester, 45 km north-west of Tiraspol. It has almost 10,000 inhabitants and is the administrative capital of the same named Rajons. Since 2002 Grigoripol has official city status.

The town was founded in 1792 by the Armenian Bishop Howsep for Armenian emigrants. The population of the long time consistently inhabited by Armenians city continues today, however, mainly of Moldovans and Russians together. Also for German settlers, the city was once provided, after problems with the coexistence with the Armenians but these formed the Glückstaler colonies in the area east of the city.
