Grigorovich M-1

The Grigorovich M-1 (Russian Григорович М -1) is a single-engine flying boat of Russian origin. It corresponds essentially to the French Donnet - Levecque the year of construction 1912. The two-seater aircraft was manufactured in composite construction. The pilots found side by side. The drive was carried out by a Gnome engine and a wooden pusher propeller. To stabilize on the water are at the end of the wing lower support swimmers. For the landing and the Zuwasserbringen the machine had lashing points for a trolley.

Compared to the output pattern slashed Dmitry Grigorovich the bow by about one meter, changed the wing profile ( Farman F.16 ) and decreased the boat level from 200 mm to 80 mm. The aircraft flew for the first time in the fall of 1913 and fulfilled through improved handling expectations.
