Grigory Shafigulin

Grigori Mirgarifanowitsch Schafigulin (Russian Григорий Миргарифанович Шафигулин; born January 13, 1985 in Chelyabinsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with the OHK Dynamo of the Kontinental Hockey League since May 2010.

Career

Grigori Schafigulin began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, for the first team he played in the 2002/03 season in the Super League. NHL Entry Draft 2003, he was selected by the Nashville Predators in the third round to 98th, for he never ran aground. In the summer of 2007 he was engaged by Ak Bars Kazan. During the season 2008/ 09 he moved to league rivals Vityaz Chekhov. In 2009 he went to the Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.

Internationally

For Russia Schafigulin participated in the Under-18 Junior World Cup in 2003, as well as the U20 World Youth Championship 2004 U20 World Junior Championships 2005 part.
