Grip (software)

Grip (short for Grip audio ripper ) is a computer program for playing audio CDs and CD - ribs for the GNOME desktop. The main strength of GRIP is ripping your audio CDs, also called digital audio extraction, making it the CD ripper. The program is released under the GNU General Public License ( GPL) and can therefore be used and distributed free of charge.

The development of grip has been suspended since 2005. Therefore, it is now more and more by other applications, for example in GNOME Sound Juicer, displaced.
