Gripport

Gripport is a commune of 248 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district Nancy, for Canton Haroué and founded in 1998, community association Saintois.

Geography

The community Gripport lies on the Moselle, about 20 kilometers southwest of Luneville and 30 kilometers southeast of Nancy. West of the Moselle River runs parallel to the Canal des Vosges with two in the field of Gripport lying locks. Between the canal and Moselle, two ponds were created, some of which are used for fish farming.
