Grobbendonk is a Belgian municipality located in the Flemish region with 11,047 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2012). It consists of the main town and the village Bouwel.

Turnhout is located 20 kilometers north-east, Antwerp 22 km west of Brussels and about 45 kilometers south-west.

The next highway exits are located in Herentals - West on the A13 / E 313 and in Zoersel and Lille at the A21 / E 34 The community has a regional station in the district Bouwen on the railway line Antwerp - Lier - Bouwen - Herentals -Mol -Hasselt / Weert (Netherlands). Antwerp airport is the nearest regional airport and the Brussels National Airport near the capital Brussels is an airport of international importance.
