Groppello

Groppello is a family of grape varieties from Italy.

This family includes the varieties:

  • Groppello Gentile: it is grown almost exclusively on the western shore of Lake Garda in the Lombardy region and is the main variety in the local DOC wine Riviera del Garda Bresciano.
  • Groppello Bianco, a white variety of the Veneto region.
  • Groppello di Mocasina, a red variety of the province of Brescia, in Lombardy
  • Groppello di Santo Stefano, a rare red variety of the province of Brescia, in Lombardy
