Groslay

Groslay is a commune with 8620 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise in the Île- de -France region. The residents ' Groslaysiens "or" Groslaysiennes " call themselves.

History

Groslay was first documented 862 survived, as the Abbey of Saint -Denis, a vineyard was transferred in place. The first reason was Mr. Odon, or Eudes de Groslay end of the 11th century. From the 13th century the village of Montmorency family belonged.
